Canvas That Keeps Water Out and Lets Moisture Escape
Our water repellent fabrics start with cotton and poly-cotton canvas woven on our own looms, then treated in our finishing unit so water beads and rolls off the surface instead of soaking in. Unlike PVC-coated fabrics, the canvas stays breathable — ideal for tents, awnings and outdoor gear where condensation matters.
We tune the level of protection to your product, from light shower repellency to waterproof heavy canvas, and apply it consistently across bulk and repeat export orders.

What is the difference between water repellent and waterproof canvas?
Water repellent canvas makes water bead up and roll off, keeping the fabric breathable. Waterproof canvas has a heavier treatment that resists water under pressure, for tarpaulins and covers in heavy rain.
Is water repellent canvas breathable?
Yes. Because we treat the fibres rather than laminating a plastic film, the canvas stays breathable, which reduces condensation in tents and clothing.
Do you offer PFC-free water repellent finishes?
Yes. Fluorocarbon-free (PFC-free) water repellent finishes are available on request for brands with environmental requirements.
How is water resistance tested?
We use hydrostatic head testing to ISO 811 and spray rating tests such as ISO 4920 / AATCC 22, depending on your specification.
Can water repellent canvas also be flame retardant?
Yes. Water repellent and flame retardant finishes can be combined on the same fabric for tents, shelters and outdoor structures.
Do you export water repellent fabric in bulk?
Yes. We export water repellent and waterproof canvas worldwide in bulk rolls, with samples and test data available before you order.
